Made it through two rounds of interviews to be ghosted for an internal hire. No reasoning or anything. Seemed like they had previously identified the candidate, and I just wasted my time.

VERY IMPERSONAL — No recruiter screen; just a list of questions you answer by email. VERY RUSHED — Only 30 minutes with hiring manager. They talked too much and left no time for questions. VERY ARROGANT — Friendly outside, but was unwilling to consider people who never worked in healthcare. VERY INEFFICIENT — If healthcare or data governance is such a strong requirement, then why didn't they see that earlier in the process? VERY DELUSIONAL — This role is responsible for several things that would be 3 to 4 people in other companies; plus you have to be a vibe-coder extraordinaire. VERY CHEAP — In the end, you’re making a normal salary but doing **at least** twice the work.

What is your experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments? What experience do you have in data governance, data quality, and similar data-as-a-product?

I’m hesitant to recommend interviewing here. The process was unclear despite my questions. I interviewed with the recruiter, hiring manager, and a panel of five. The interviews were mostly behavioral, with no technical questions. Feedback seemed positive, and I liked the team. I sent a thank-you email but got no response. After following up, I received an automatic rejection. When I asked for feedback, they said they liked me but only for a lower role (not currently open) and suggested I reapply. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and a bit performative since they didn’t ask meaningful questions. I’m unsure what would change if I tried again, but they were nice (just a bit time-wasty.)
