Shortly after applying, I received an email saying I was being invited for an interview. I sent my availability right away, but didn’t hear back for a few days. I emailed the recruiter who said the hiring manager was unexpectedly out of the office, and could I please send my availability for the following week instead. I did so right away. I never heard back despite emailing multiple times, even just asking if they had filled the position already. Unfortunately, I was ghosted. It’s unprofessional, rude, and really shocking for a higher ed institution of this size and this many staff to do this to someone. I write this so that others know, it’s not you. It’s most definitely them.

Panel interview made up of 5 potential colleagues. All questions related to the position and I had considered during my preparation. The panel lasted approximately 45 minutes and gave me a good idea of what working for the organization would be like.
