Initially, I had applied for the PLC Programmer position. The electrical engineer did not feel that I was qualified for that position but they decided to interview me for a different role. After the initial test, the position was explained and it sounded like a great challenge. Later that same day, the HR department called me with an offer. It was a little less that I had hoped for so I asked for a higher salary. About 5 minutes later, I had the number I was looking for and accepted the offer.
