Colloquio
Quite easy process, first a panel of 4 then an assignment about the development of a web app using basic authentication using unit testing and microsoft sql server as database.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Nautilus (Vancouver, WA) nel mese di set 2019
Colloquio
First a tour of the office then a questionnaire round robin with several different people: hr, manager, art director, developers. I felt the developers panel was subpar. None of it was collaborative and it felt very "from atop a ledge".
They gave you code to complete and gave you 30 minutes which included the time you would take to read over the instructions and go over the code. Since they didn't collaborate with you or anything, could've done it online and saved a drive.
The second technical question was probably the poorest I've ever gotten in an interview. I could only assume it was a design question but they wouldn't even answer if it was.
They gave you an arbitrary statistic and asked how you would get it to them. That's it. No other instruction and they wouldn't answer any other clarifying questions such as whether they wanted it via an app, browser, etc. or what kind of data was available. They literally just sat there as I blindly just threw whatever I thought was an answer on a whiteboard.
After the interview, they said they would get back to me in a couple of days. Months later, still nothing. Ooph.
