Phone Screen Hiring Manager Phone Screen Four hour take home analyst project panel interview to discuss project 2-3 additional 1:1's First off, company puts 'python, R, etc' in their job posting. When I speak with them I learn they are doing everything in google sheets/excel...all the while somehow having a costly snowflake setup...weird. It really irks me when companies throw a bunch of technology in their job postings that aren't even really part of their 'stack'...at least this department within the company. (people) After a moderately exhaustive interview process, the recruiter followed up with me on Monday after my final interview (Friday). She let me know that the initial feedback was great and she would be in touch by the end of the week. That date came and went (surprise?)...I followed up the following Monday, waited almost 48 hours before I received a response. The recruiter asked if I could have a call sometime the following morning... I promptly replied with an hour window. She never replied to my email and that time came and went, she calls me randomly out of the blue three hours later while I am dripping with sweat in my garden to let me know the 'bad news' (really great news) She gives me the following feedback : This job was originally posted remote or California (their home office) that a local candidate came along that 'made more sense'. This just also happened to coincide with this companies CEO forcing everyone back into the office in June according to what I have read on here. The other piece of feedback was that there was an 'error' in one of my data analysis slides. No proof of the error, nothing pointed out...just an 'error'. I'm sure that might have been true as I did this project around 2am because I have a busy life and companies asking me to do four hour unpaid projects isn't high on my priority list. Had I not been treated with ZERO respect, I wouldn't have even written this review. This is what you get when you treat people like dirt.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Which source (e.g., Agency, LinkedIn, Jobs Site, Referral, etc) was the most efficient? Which was the least efficient? It’s up to you on how you define “efficient” and please explain your thought process in your response. Which source should we invest more in?
