Lack of respect for interviewee's time. 0 transparency. 100% internal problems. Read on
This company is pretty big, over 1,500 employees so their hiring process also matches large corporations like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. Expedited processes, panel interviews, meeting different levels, etc
Problem is they have 0 respect for interviewee's time. I was interviewing for over 15 companies at once. Got 5 offers around same time. I was waiting to interview for Navico as I wanted to give them a chance.
Originally scheduled to interview before I run out of time to accept other job offers
During the interview, I discovered that wasn't even the final stage interview. In other words, it was a WASTE OF TIME. I wouldn't have time to do the final stage. (I did it anyways, but not at the cost of rejecting other companies who respected my time.) Large companies like Goldman Sachs will absolutely let you know if there's ANOTHER stage, especially if you're running out of time to accept your other job offers. Even small companies like Macquarie (still way bigger/better than Navico) will inform you of the full interview process. Even smaller companies like Oppenheimer may publicly state they don't expedite interviews but they will help a top candidate if you prove you have other offers
All in all, I lost all liking for Navico with this lack of transparency
Interview questions are also very telling. There's 100% internal team problems. If not, there wouldn't be over 3 questions about what I'd do working in a bad team. Approximately 30% of the higher up interview is about handling bad teammates. I asked about turnover immediately after hearing all the red flags and the interviewers dodged the question. Actually, the interviewers dodged a lot of my questions. In other words, I gained 0 additional knowledge/value about Navico except for the very red flag questions they asked me
