It is a complete sham. They had already selected someone and needlessly wasted so much of my time conducting the sham interview process. Be very careful when you apply to this company, they are unprofessional and borderline deceitful. They advertised the solutions architect positions for both Vienna, Virginia and Pensacola, Florida locations. I applied for the Pensacola location and a week later received an email from the recruiter with a few questions like why I was looking for new job, what are my strengths, do I know a particular software, my expected salary range, earliest start date etc. I replied to the email same day providing all the answers. The recruiter emailed back asking me for a convenient date for a 1 hour technical phone interview and we settled for Thursday at 2 pm the week after. The interviewers were solutions architects, very polite nice gentlemen. The interview was highly technical and I hit it out of the park. I have extremely strong technical skills in this field as I have worked in it for a reasonably long time. They asked me more than 65 questions and I was able to answer all except maybe 2. They went on raising the difficulty level of the questions as I kept answering correctly and finally it came to a point where they had nothing left to ask. At the end they said Thank you and that I was going to hear from HR. I did the technical interview beyond my expectations and had no doubt I would be called for a personal interview. Next day was Friday, I checked their career site and the two twp solutions architect positions were still open. On Monday morning to my surprise the positions were removed from their career site. I NEVER email a recruiter for the result of an interview (because one knows how it went, good or bad) but this time I did because I did the tech.interview outstandingly well, was expecting a call but found the positions removed from their site right after my interview. To my email , the recruiter responded with the standard boilerplate "I did just receive an update from your technical phone interview. Thank you again for your interest and time in the selection process for the above mentioned position. Each candidate who applied was given careful consideration; however it has been decided to move forward with another candidate at this time. " I was really disappointed. It was clear they had already made up their mind even before my interview to select someone which is perfectly fine but they should not wasted my time and effort to needlessly go through the interview. It was not just me, even the interviewers' time who clearly were not aware of the sham game the HR was playing otherwise they would have wrapped up the interview in 10-15 minutes with a couple of questions. Folks be careful of this company's recruitment process. I never had a such a bad experience with any company.
