Received an email from the recruiter expressing interest, was asked to select a time and registered for a meeting 3 days later. Literally one minute before the interview started I received an email saying they had hired someone else and they canceled the interview.

I have been the hiring manager on a good handful of candidates in my career, and the approach that is taken at Neighbor is deceiving and is a poor gauge at performance. I was sent a 3 question 60 minute online technical assessment that was using decade old technology to assess problem solving abilities where I was asked to use data that didnt exist to answer questions, and that was somehow supposed to be a gauge of my abilities, and then had one 20 minute interview with the co-founder that was very surface level. I was never asked any questions that would have gauged my analytical abilities nor my team management abilities, yet was somehow screened as unqualified for the job after such minimal information or opportunity was given to showcase anything about myself. Then, when I asked for any feedback, I was told they couldn't provide any specific feedback. Poor process, unqualified hiring personnel, and overall bad interview process.
