I initially started the conversation in January 2024 and the process concluded in April 2024.
I applied as an employee referral and the conversation with the recruiter started very quickly. It was a direct series of question which I appreciate and was left with a standard "we will be in touch with you shortly". Be prepared to follow up a few times to get an understanding of where you are in the process as the company is getting hundreds of applications for their open roles and doesn't seem to have a candidate software platform in place so it seems like keeping track of who is where in the process is a struggle.
I did meet with the hiring manager for this role and went through a standard interview and was left saying next steps would be in place by the end of the week. This didn't occur so I reverted to following up with the recruiter who was without information on the status. After a few more weeks of this I did not get a reason as to where my candidacy stood but rather that they didn't have any open roles in the areas I had applied to at the moment. So an indirect way of saying my interview process had ended.
It was not the best process in my opinion as the company culture makes a point of stating how much they care about their employees, but that doesn't appear to extend to people wanting to join their ranks, which is disappointing.
I still think Nerdio could be a great place to work at, but the hiring process needs some improvements that can communicate with the volume of applicants effectively.
