I was given a data set and asked to produce investment commentary for a specific fund as part of the interview process. During the interview itself, I was asked three competency-based questions, which I answered using the STAR technique. While the interview seemed to go well, I never received any feedback—not even a courtesy email to let me know I hadn’t been selected. It’s disappointing, especially considering the amount of time and effort required for the task, only to be left with no communication whatsoever.
