A NetApp recruiter contacted me initially. The process was very thorough and included phone interviews and face to face interviews. Sometimes I interviewed with the same people several times. The process seemed to be structured to weed out applicants that aren't team players and won't fit in with the NTAP culture. At the end, I had to do a presentation for a group of AE's and SE's in the NTAP office. The whole process took about 4 weeks.

Phone interview with Hiring manager discussing past abilities to win in stated Georgia territory. Very interested in ability to maneuver in key accounts in the territory. Opportunity was for a State and Local higher Education / SLED role, so also very interested in ability to response to RFP's and utilize State contract vehicles. Final interviews done in Vienna VA. Five different interviewers including hireling Manager's Manager as part of that process.
