A recruiter based in India contacted me to gather pertinent information, including salary expectations, citizenship status, and notice period. Subsequently, a first-round interview was scheduled without providing details regarding the interviewer, despite my inquiry via email. The interview was rescheduled, and, remarkably, a second-round interview was scheduled and I was prompted to accept it, even prior to the initial interview. This practice appears unconventional, particularly given that progression to subsequent interviews is typically contingent upon the outcome of the preceding round.
The interview itself was positive, and the discussion was engaging. However, it became apparent that the company is undergoing a period of transformation, with its strategic initiatives still in development.
Following the interview, I contacted the recruiter to inquire about the outcome, as it would influence my availability for the subsequent interview but there was no response. As a result the interview lapsed and I recieved an rejection the next day.
Definitely giving me red flags signals ... but I hope it isn't the case for others who are joining ...
