When I was with a PR/Marketing Software company. I've been following NetSuite for quite sometime, because of exposure, training, financial reasons. It made me apply for 3 times before I finally got an interview schedule. With the hiring process I would say they are very particular in selecting candidates. You need to undergo series of panel interviews. One particular step is the business case presentation wherein you will be given a scenario and you need to present it with PowerPoint presentation. Presentation is tough I even thought I did not pass and a few weeks later a got a call for final interview.

Most difficult questions is how would there business benefit from what you are discussing. And obviously the panel would give you a instances that they are already saving cost with what they are using. By the fact that PowerPoint presentation would also add to your demise if it's not correlated with their pain points you are trying to extract.

The process started with a phone interviews with another sales rep in the role. This was then followed up by a phone interview with future manger. Finish with an in person interview with director. Entire process was about one week and I was offered a position.

I had 3 interviews upon being contacted by a recruiter. The discussions were with the recruiter (selling me on NetSuite), the Sales Manager ( why I would be a good sales representative) and a Senior V.P. ( what is that I wanted to do and why would Netsutie be the place for you )
