      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Network Rail (Milton Keynes, Inghilterra) nel mese di ago 2019

      Colloquio

After completing an online competency test at the application stage I was invited to attend a technical assessment at their HQ in Milton Keynes, this was a short half an hour test designed to see if you understood the job role. I was then informed a few days later that i had passed and would be invited to an interview the following week that would also include a group session, held at the same HQ. There were eight of us in attendance and they divided us into two groups of four, the four I was in were taken for our interviews first, held separately in different interview rooms by teams of two interviewers. It was a competency based interview in which you had to describe examples of situations you had experienced before and also to ask you what you know of the job itself and the company. The interview lasted about fifty minutes and then after a short break we were led into a meeting room where in our team of four, we would discuss the best possible actions to take in a scenario laid out by the assessors that were also in the room. Those assessors would take notes as we discussed the problem and how to resolve it taking into consideration the many factors that had been laid out. Once the group had agreed a solution we were then asked to pen a fictional letter to a Director explaining the decision we had come to and the reasons behind it, this group session lasted about an hour and you were given fifteen minutes to write the letter. Once this was done our details such as right to work documents, driving licenses and passports were photocopied for reference. That is the entire process.
