Pre-screen with Talent Acquisition went fine. 3 days later a call with a SVP who started the conversation saying "I have a hard stop in 30 mins" and "I want to make sure you know what you are getting yourself into". The first 25 mins was a review of his career and what type of team he wanted to build and the next 5 mins was him asking me questions. 3 days later I received the email that he felt others were a better fit for his team. I have 20+ years experience in the job I applied for at Fortune 100 companies larger than Newell. Interesting how someone could come to that conclusion on a 5 minute conversation. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.
