Started off fine interviewed for a position then they call me with a offer to a complete different position that I clearly stated I wasn't interested in. Just a waste of time.

The interview process was pretty straight forward. I had a total of 2 interviews, one phone and one in person. They were nice and respectful, pretty in-depth interview, i would do some research about the company before hand.

The interview took place with the manager and 5 of the team leads. The manager told me, while scheduling the interview with me, that the position would lead to advancement within the company within 1-2 years, but during the interview he said that all of the advancement positions would be team leads, and all of those guys had been there 5+ years with no intentions of leaving.
The interview was somewhat hostile of my past experiences. They questioned me about every employer I worked for and it was almost as though they were looking for ways to disqualify me as a candidate rather than test my qualifications--I could have easily lied to them and provided them with a condensed resume that appeared perfect, but I wanted to highlight that I have more than just maintenance skills, many of which are valuable for team building and improving respect in the workplace.
Lastly, I noticed from the get-go that there was 0 diversity in the building. HR is male of 30-40s range, all the team leads 30-40s, all of the people on the floor were 30-40s male save for 1 woman. I was concerned about this because it could lead people who are different (in any way) to feeling like they don't fit in. The manager struggled to answer my questions about diversity which is a big red flag. After having time to think about that aspect of the interview, I suppose that explains why they were hostile towards me and my work experience, because I am different from them and they didn't want diversity there.
After an 1.5 hr interviewing process I have yet to hear anything back from them--not even a generic "Sorry, the position is filled."

The only standard question I remembered was they asked me to give them a pitch for why I'm the best candidate.
Their approach was customized to my resume. They asked a lot of questions about my background. Because I'm a different candidate, they asked me loyalty-type questions such as what makes me think I would remain with the company if hired when I've left so many other positions in other industries?
