After applying, contact was quick and friendly. Video interview was scheduled promptly to discuss if I would be a good fit for the position. Interview was scheduled for 45 minutes but lasted 1.5 hours. Really friendly interviewer that asked great questions - felt like a conversation more than an interview. Interviewer said "I'll be passing your name on to our CEO for a second interview next week." But then...they ghosted me. I emailed the interviewer (not through a hiring portal) a week later to check-in and didn't receive a response. Three months later I emailed again and they said they had lost all applicant information and were holding off on hiring the position.
