the third and most important part is 3 to 1 interview(2 engineering related managers and 1 HR person)the interviewer will ask you questions based on your resume.

the whole interview process takes 60 mins, more than 30 mins was about research in graduate school.
remember that Nissan japan are able to locate you anywhere they want, especially manufacturing department. will you accept the job offer even you are located in somewhere else than your originally thought you will be located?

HR made the first personal contact. 2 more interviews for technical skills and previous experience. After 3 months of first interview I got the job.
The most critical interview its a panel with upper management. They will expose you to solve an issue under a difficult scenery. Japanese staff looks to get technical explanation (fact based). Conclusions are welcome after interview.

How to solve a technical issue related with cars. If you have experience in automotive area they will ask you how did you get done a hard issue.
