I was referred to Noblis by a friend, and the day after they submitted my resume a recruiter reached out to me. The recruiter and I spoke on the phone for about 30 minutes about what I was looking for in my next job, what kind of experience I have, and then some interview-style questions about my strengths and weaknesses. It sounded like these were questions on an internal form that got sent to the hiring team. We also discussed that I did not have the required years of experience for the role, but that the team would be happy to consider hiring me at a lower level.
A day later the recruiter reached out to me and said the team wanted to interview me. We scheduled an interview for a week from then. The interview was pretty easy and they asked me questions about my experience with certain tools, what tech I’ve worked with, etc. I was also asked about a time I disagreed with my manager, and a time that I needed to think critically in a time-sensitive situation. We also talked about what I was looking for in the role, and the team went over their tech stack with me. I really liked this style of interview as opposed to a technical interview focused on data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture. I’m not sure if this would be asked of someone with more experience.
After the interview I was given an offer the following week. The recruiter was extremely easy to work with during the entire process, and the team was very diligent about getting my offer out in a timely manner.
