I interviewed for a recruitment consultant position at London. 1st telephone interview Basic questioning. Call took approximately 15 minutes asking general information about my background and experience. Passed first stage and was told I'd be sent an information package about the company by the consultant that interview me. She never sent anything. I received another call from a different recruiter 2 days later. She was not aware I had already had a first interview with one of her colleagues and she was surprised that despite being told I'd receive an information package, I never got one. So she went ahead and sent me the package saying I would have a call next day asking questions in regards to the information there. The call was scheduled for 2pm London time. It was not until 5pm that I received an email explaining that her meeting had been delayed and that she wanted to reschedule a call for end of day. I answered back saying that I already had another interview appointment at that time and whether we could reschedule for the next working day. It's been 3 days since my reply and the consultant hasn't even replied saying whether or not they are available to reschedule. Given that you are recruiting for a recruitment position, it is quite disappointing to find out as a potential recruitment candidate, such poor organisation between colleagues and when setting up an interview process. While the company brochure and description are attractive and seem to be of high reputation, the 2 recruiters that are in charge of the recruitment process delivered quite frankly a disappointing process which reflects that the training received was not appropriate or that they are not following the training strategies they were given when they first started.
