It depends on which department, with Sales its an easier process. but for operation and such it might take longer. I had 4 interviews before I got hired.

When I was originally interviewing for a Business development position, I was asked about developing business with the utility and utility programs. I should have answered "that's a terrible business model to depend on utility programs". Just to show the companies lack of knowledge in the matter. I did not get the BD job but offered a Product development job instead.
