The managing editor asked about my writing, editing, and interviewing experience. She gave me a few grammar, punctuation, style, et cetera, worksheets to work on that she would grade, and then she sent me on my way. It was a very short and simple process, and they offered me the job soon after. I think GlassDoor's reviews are (rightfully) discouraging people from applying to their unpaid, abusive internship, which is great.

Colloquio
I was contacted by e-mail to schedule an interview with the Fashion & Beauty editor at the time. After a basic behavioral interview, I was then scheduled to do an in-person interview with the Managing Editor. There were the basic behavioral questions, and I felt like this was more of a conversation about the magazine. I also had to complete a multi-page editing test.
