For what I have heard from new upcoming medical assistants, the interview process has shorten in length. When I first applied 5 years ago, it took about 2 months from when i was first contacted by HR to my first day on the job. Currently it takes about a month.

Received an email that they want to interview me, planned out a day with them. Met in office. Spoke and I got a tour around the place, met Doctors, nurses and got the chance to ask medical assistants questions.

Interview process was quick and easy! Started off with a phone screen with a Northwell recruiter, followed by an in person interview. HR was easy to reach and communicated effectively throughout the entire pre-hire process.
