There is not a formal interview process. I was notified to apply through and email where I filled out my previous courses and my course schedule for the next quarter to determine what I was capable of being a teaching assistant for and what classes fit inside of my schedule.

Very easy. They asked me a few questions about my educational background and then asked me my level of comfort in teaching one of them as an assistant. Follow-up question about past teaching experience.
