      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Novartis (East Hanover, NJ) nel mese di ott 2018

      Colloquio

HR phone screen, then hiring manager phone screen, then in-person interview. The in-person interview left a very bad impression with me. The hiring manager emailed me on Sunday afternoon to change the time of the interview occurring the next day. I reminded her to update others involved with the interview about the time change, and later found out she didn't. The admin did not notify security of my visit, which took a while to sort out since she was not at her desk. There was not enough parking for visitors like myself, and the parking is so far away that visitors must ride a shuttle bus to the office buildings. I was instructed to drive directly to the building instead, but there was no road signs or building number. I was lucky that the second building I tried was the right one. I used the special red phone to call the person who was supposed to escort me into the building, and she was nowhere to be found. I call the other admin, in a different building, who told me to go find the interview room myself. I would think it is against company policy to let a stranger wander in the office un-escorted, which is true for other pharmaceutical companies I was employed. I had 4 in-person interviews, and all but one of them were late to the meeting by 10 to 15 minutes. I had another phone interview the next day, as she cannot join on the day I was on site, and she was 15 minutes late to call me as well. After the interviews, I heard nothing for 6 weeks, then the recruiter rejected me by phone.
