They said I was overqualified for the position I initially applied for and had a position that would better suit me and them. 4 interviews and a month and a half later no offer. the 1st 2 interviews were via teams and were just asking questions. 3rd interview was virtual but on a virtual desktop where we used studio 5000. I also pointed out all the errors in there testing . 4th interview was in-person where I had to wire in an analog loop with the typical tricky stuff to throw you off. I kept asking what the compensation looked like the whole way through the process. Of which they always said they would get back to me and never did. leaving the 4th interview the CEO asked me to throw him a number so I did. I think my price I was too high but they are asking a lot of me and time away from family. Seeing the current listing for this position I would say that this company is unwilling to pay a decent wage in comparison to other similar positions. I then asked what about the original position I was applying for? they said they were all filled because the process too so long then radio silence. The whole process left me so deflated I thought everyone should know so it does not happen to them.
