I interviewed for a role at Nuitée and the experience started off very positively. The recruiter was extremely proactive in the beginning—following up quickly, scheduling interviews even before previous rounds were finished, and creating the impression that the company was highly interested and moving fast.
I went through multiple rounds, including a conversation with the CEO, and the discussions themselves were strong and engaging. However, after the final interview, the process changed completely. Communication became inconsistent, follow-ups were ignored, and after being told they would schedule time to discuss next steps, I shared my availability and then heard nothing again for weeks.
The contrast between the initial intensity and the later silence was frustrating and honestly felt misleading. It created a “love bombing” dynamic early on, followed by a lack of transparency and basic professional courtesy later in the process.
I understand startup hiring can be fluid and priorities can change, but candidates deserve clear communication—especially after investing significant time and reaching final stages. Even a direct no would have been far better than repeated delays and ambiguity.
My feedback would be to improve candidate communication and set more realistic expectations throughout the process. Strong early enthusiasm should be matched with consistent follow-through.
