The interview process consisted of three stages:
Initial HR Call
The first step was a phone call with the HR recruiter. He asked about my educational background, credentials, and professional experience. He also provided an overview of the position. The conversation was straightforward and relaxed, with no unexpected or challenging questions.
Case Study Assignment
After a few days, I received a case study focused on contract redlining. The task involved identifying and flagging potential risks within a software contract. It was a practical exercise aligned with the role’s responsibilities and allowed me to demonstrate my applied knowledge.
In-Person Interview
The final stage was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and two team members. They were respectful and professional throughout. The questions centered around my previous experience and how it related to the specific tasks of the role. The discussion was clear and relevant, without any overly complex or abstract questions.
Overall, the process was well-structured and gave me a strong impression that I was a good fit for the role. However, after the final interview, I did not receive any follow-up communication—not even a thank-you email. This lack of closure felt unprofessional and disappointing, especially given the time and effort invested in the process.
