      The interview was very good and helpful and my process proceeded for more than 1 hours and almost all of the questions were answered. But still the hr rejected without giving any reason.

      Its not a company that I had respect for. Time consuming and tiring interview process. The Interview process started with a hr call asking to attend a walk in on weekend. I went to Oyo rooms interview with a very high hopes, but on reaching there the company I found it was very similar to other companies and no such fancy campus and infra was there as I thought for a company which is 10th on LinkedIn rankings. The Hr team though was kind enough to ask for lunch but due to lack of interview panel ( I guess ) people had to wait for more than 1 to 2 hours in between interview rounds. I reached at 11 am and first round being written round I completed in 30 minutes, after that I had to wait for almost 1 hour for my first face to face to round which started at around 12:30 pm and ended at around 1:45 pm. After this they asked me for lunch and I did my lunch till 2:30 pm. The second round started after 2 hours at 4:30 pm and ended at around 5:40 pm and luckily they did not consider me for third round as I was so tired of sitting and waiting there more. Overall I think besides your technical skills they were also testing your patience and long working hours stamina. At the end of the day I had a serious headache. Advice to management is that respect everyone's time, and try to move things fast, which everyone expects from startups like OYO. Coming to interview rounds: Written test was easy questions are given in question section. First face to face was held on discussing approach to solve written round questions and few other questions like async, defer, sync. He was confusing on === in deep compare question. Asked about prototypes and inheritance. Told me to rewrite some problems. Second face to face, interviewer asked basic questions available on internet for javascript like settimeout inside for loop, implementing restricted inheritance in javascript , attaching events in dom elements etc. He paused me on question relating to reducing hits to server while searching in search box and was not satisfied by my approach. Though I told him half answer according to him but he only wanted to listen what answer he had in his mind. I later asked him the answer was surprised at his answer which he was seeking since half hour. He was kind of rude and was trying make fun of my struggle against problem. A good interviewer who really wanted to select candidates must have given some good hint about the approach.
