I had a positive initial experience during the interview process with the head of research and the senior researcher, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Following this, I was invited to an interview with the head of design, where we had a great conversation, and I was told I would hear back by the end of the week or early the following week. However, after not receiving any updates, I sent a polite follow-up email before the Christmas break, hoping for clarity.
After Christmas and New Year's, I still hadn’t received any response. A week into the new year, I sent another email, but I was once again left without any communication.
I am deeply appalled and disappointed by this lack of professionalism and communication, especially considering the holiday season. It is unfair to give candidates hope and then completely disregard them without even informing them of their application status. Unfortunately, my experience appears to be a common issue, as others have shared similar feedback regarding the company's interview process. I strongly believe this process needs to be reviewed and improved to ensure future candidates are treated with respect and professionalism.
