Very strange. I applied and within a day or so, the CTO asked to schedule an interview. I replied with a few dates and times. They confirmed the date via email but sent the wrong date via a calendar invite. I followed up twice to try and confirm the actual date and time, but no answer. So I prepared to interview on both dates. The morning of our interview, I get a cancellation from the CEO and an email saying that my application has been rejected and they’re moving forward with other candidates. Kind of unprofessional. A few other things: it appears that at the moment the company is just the CEO and CTO. The website was down until the day before my interview and the website was a bit dysfunctional and had several grammatical and spelling errors. Maybe I dodged a bullet? Either way, I don’t think this company has it together.
