The interview process was fantastic, at first I had an initial interview with a lovely lady called Aasimah, she was so friendly and kind. Aasimah talked me through what I may be asked and what to research to be prepared for the interview including some helpful tips for the interview! The second stage of the interview process was something I had never experienced before however it was a very enjoyable and interesting few hours. I got to meet the Octopus team via Zoom along with fellow applicants and we took part in group and individual tasks as well as getting to know the team and tasks as an employee. Everyone at Octopus were very well informed and friendly, they really sold the role on how brilliant the company is and how much they enjoyed working there. The final stage, I got through to with a final call where I spoke to a lovely lady about the role in more detail and I got the role! Everyone I have spoken to from Instant Impact and Octopus were extremely kind and informing, so warm and welcoming.

I had an initial call to explain the role. Then I was invited to complete some literary and numeracy tests, I was give plenty of time to learn and revise these. I was then invited to a discovery day. This involved an ice breaker, a few little tasks, an interview and a Q & A. I was a little daunted at the prospect, but again was given lots of advice and time to prepare and I really enjoyed the whole process. Finally I had a 30 minute chat with one of the team, quite informal, more to just see if I was sure I wanted the job. Overall though it was a long process, a lot of advice was given at each stage and plenty of time to prepare.
