Colloquio
This was one of the best interview processes I have ever been a part of.
- During the initial phone screen, the recruiter told me the compensation range and listed out all of the benefits without me prompting.
- The take home assignment was not intimidating. It felt like the right kind of assignment to assess skills without being too much.
- At the end of the interview process, the recruiter again asked me "What salary would make you happy?" and encouraged me to say the number that would make me excited to receive an offer, not lowball myself just to get an offer.
- The entire interview process started and completed within 2 weeks. I felt like my time and effort was respected at all times.
- I was interviewed by diverse individuals in gender, age, and ethnicity. This contrasted significantly with another company that talked a lot about DEI efforts, but all of my interviewers looked the same.
The interview process included the following:
1. 30 min phone screen with recruiter
2. 1 hour portfolio review with the head of design
3. A take home assignment to finish within 3 days (took about 4 hours, you can ask to extend the timeline)
4. Final Interviews back to back:
- 45 min to discuss the take home assignment
- 30 min with a designer (review case study)
- 30 min with a designer (review case study)
- 45 min "culture and value fit" interview with someone outside the design team
- 15 min HR wrap up

Colloquio
After applying, I was sent a PDF with a list of 17 questions. I sent back a PDF document with my answers. 3 days later, without an interview with an actual human, and without the ability to ask questions of my own, I got an email with a job offer.
