Colloquio
After passing both the initial phone interview and on-line test (timed), I was contacted about 10 days later by the local hiring manager to come in for a face to face interview. The gentleman who I spoke with made me feel comfortable and interview lasted about an hour. I followed up that day with a "thank you" email, expressing my interest and received a positive reply that same afternoon. The hiring manager asked me to come in the very next afternoon to meet with his superior, so of course I was very pleased. However, within an hour and half, he followed it up with a 2nd Email message: Sorry, tomorrow afternoon isn't going to work after all. I'll contact you in a few days and we'll take it from there." You have probably guessed the outcome. Yes, that's correct. 3 weeks later (not a few days!) I received a form email from Human Resources stating that they had filled the position with another candidate that more closely matched their requirements. End of story

Tell me about a time when things didn't go your way at work and what you did about it.

Very simple - once you get past the online process. There were two in-person interviews that I found to be quite simple. It's really about who you know.
