However, after speaking with individuals familiar with the hiring location several weeks later, I was told that the role had not actually been filled at that time. During those conversations, I was also informed—secondhand—that concerns about diversity and inclusion may have played a role in hiring decisions at that location. I was told the workforce composition had shifted significantly over time and that the company has previously faced complaints or legal action related to discrimination and employee mistreatment. I cannot personally verify these claims, but they were shared with me by multiple individuals familiar with the workplace. Additionally, I was told that workplace culture issues existed, including unprofessional behavior among employees and concerns about how management handles complaints. According to those accounts, employees who raise concerns or defend themselves may face heightened scrutiny rather than support.
