      was contacted by Insight Global on October 21, 2025, and informed by the recruiter that I was considered a strong candidate and that my résumé would be presented to Okonite Company. I remained in regular contact with the recruiter over the following weeks, checking in weekly for updates on the interview process. After nearly a month of follow-ups, on November 17, 2025, I was informed that the position had already been filled. However, after speaking with individuals familiar with the hiring location several weeks later, I was told that the role had not actually been filled at that time. During those conversations, I was also informed—secondhand—that concerns about diversity and inclusion may have played a role in hiring decisions at that location. I was told the workforce composition had shifted significantly over time and that the company has previously faced complaints or legal action related to discrimination and employee mistreatment. I cannot personally verify these claims, but they were shared with me by multiple individuals familiar with the workplace. Additionally, I was told that workplace culture issues existed, including unprofessional behavior among employees and concerns about how management handles complaints. According to those accounts, employees who raise concerns or defend themselves may face heightened scrutiny rather than support. Based on my experience with the recruitment process and the information shared with me afterward, I would advise candidates to proceed with caution and to ask detailed questions about company culture, management practices, and diversity during the interview process.
