      1. Initial Application and Screening After submitting my application for the Senior Android Developer role, I was contacted by the talent acquisition specialist of the company, who became my primary point of contact. This initial step involved a discussion to confirm my qualifications, experience, and interest, ensuring alignment with the role. Beyond logistics, it introduced me to OneSpan’s identity and culture, sparking my enthusiasm from the outset. The positive and engaging conversation set an encouraging tone for the process ahead. 2. Team Leader Interview The second stage was an in-depth soft skills assessment led by the recruiting team’s leader. This interview provided a detailed overview of the company’s structure, the objectives of the position, and how it contributes to product development and career growth. The manager demonstrated exceptional listening skills, a collaborative spirit, and clear articulation of goals. This step deepened my eagerness to join OneSpan, as I recognized a strong alignment between my values and the company’s culture, along with the exciting prospect of working alongside skilled technical and business professionals. 3. Technical Interview The third round was a technical session conducted by a lead developer. This stage focused on evaluating the core technical competencies expected of a Senior Android Developer, such as Android best practices mastery, secure coding practices, and architectural knowledge. The discussion laid the groundwork for what promises to be an exciting technical journey, one that would captivate any software engineer passionate about their craft. The interviewer's collaborative and respectful approach reinforced my impression of OneSpan’s process as thorough yet personable, adding another layer of positive interaction. 4. Leadership Interview I then had a 30-minute call with the SVP. This step assessed my strategic fit, leadership potential, and ability to foster collaboration, with a focus on conflict resolution and structured decision-making. We explored how my experience driving technical projects aligns with OneSpan’s vision in digital security, as well as my approach to cultivating an impactful engineering culture. The interviewer shared insights into the company’s market positioning, financial perspective, and growth trajectory. I found this exchange insightful and valued the chance to connect my journey to OneSpan’s goals, blending technical depth with broader organizational alignment. 5. Follow-Up Call A swift follow-up call was scheduled, reflecting the rapid progression and decisiveness of the process. This conversation served as a final alignment check, reaffirming the initial offer details, discussing next steps, and providing informal feedback. The speed and clarity of this stage underscored the confidence in my candidacy, built on consistently positive feedback from each interviewer. It was a seamless bridge to the offer stage, keeping momentum high.
