Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Opower (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di dic 2014
Colloquio
After submitting an application, they emailed me saying they'd like to speak over the phone. After that phone conversation, the interviewer said they'd have the direct manager call me for a second phone interview. That subsequently turned into an on-site interview with multiple interviewers and including lunch with the direct manager. They left me hanging after that interview. Not even a notice saying they filled the position

How would you work through a queue of help desk tickets?

The interview process felt long, though that could be because I was very interested in the position and the fact that Opower is very thorough. All told, it was was almost two weeks from the time I submitted my application until their first reply, and another 6 weeks until the process was over and an official offer was made.
However, Opower has an in-house corporate recruiting team that was communicative, helpful, and friendly throughout. During the 6-week period between the confirmation of receipt of my application and the official offer, I had two phone interviews and two in-person interviews at their Arlington office. And I never waited more than 7 days to receive at least basic feedback on each step of the process.
All told, it was a pleasant experience, marred only by my own impatience for feedback and interest in the position and company.

The most difficult and interesting "question" was a rapid-fire series of technical workflow requirements for which I had to quickly recommend a computer configuration - from available, standard commercial systems and configurations - and then defend my choices from a technical standpoint.
