If I have to describe the interview process, I'd say PATHETIC. Overall Experience: PATHETIC I have appeared for interview thrice, and every single time their HRs disappoint me (may be other candidates as well). I'll explain how. 1st Interview Call ( Employee Referral) : (Feb, 2019) I went to their Gurugram office and cleared first 2 rounds, I was told that I am selected and they will send me a mail to submit required documents. 2nd Interview Call ( Direct Call from HR) : (July, 2019) I was approached by an HR, he arranged a webexinterview. I specifically took a day off just to attend that interview. As I have a false image of Optum (My Bad). Now, coming back to the point. I joined the webex call, but no one joined from their end, I did wait for 1 hour and then dropped a mail to HR. But he didn't reply. Post that, I send multiple mails to get the response or reschedule the interview, but in vain. 3rd Interview Call (Approached by a consultancy) : (Sept, 2019) (My Birthday) This time they've crossed all the limits. They had scheduled a drive, and the footfall was high, So, they asked 17 candidates to leave stating they will arrange a webex session for us. (Of Course I was one of them). I talked to interview coordinator and told her that I never got a call last time. Please let me appear for interview and she obliged (Actually, I told her about my birthday and how they wasted my time). I cleared all the rounds that day. I was told I am selected and they will ask for documents in a mail. This time they actually asked for documents. But again, they started their usual game of not replying. After multiple mails and follow ups, she finally called and we had a salary discussion. But the salary she offered required 5 approvals. She said she'll take approval from higher management and if they don't approve that salary, She will send me offer letter with Salary she had communicated before. I was okay with it. After this I never heard anything from them. But a few days back got a mail, that I am not suitable for the position. I do understand there are a lot of factors when hiring new talent. But my disappointment and anger is because of their lethargic, unprofessional and casual attitude. They have been wasting time of deserving candidates. And even after promising they are not releasing offer letters, That's a matter of shame for the organization of this level. They are just tarnishing the name of Optum (UHG sister concern) And we all know the reputation of UHG (Fortune 500 company). I mean I am very disappointed and shocked to see this attitude of HRs.
