First step was a logical reasoning test which is only 15 minutes. I don't think I've ever done a word scramble problem in my life so I skipped a couple of them to get to the easier ones.
The technical recruiter that contacted me about this job said that the interview would last 35-40 minutes but after the test, I had three different interviews. I wasn't expecting this because I was doing this during my lunch break and needed to get back to work.
I heard back a week later and they said my test score wasn't high enough. I don't understand why they wasted two hours of my time to learn about my experience and projects worked on when a test was the deciding factor. Moreover, it's not as if someone couldn't practice for that kind of test and score higher. So they aren't even hiring for relevant skill set, they are hiring for someone who knows how to take the type of test they assume is showing them something relevant when it isn't.
