I had a very disappointing experience during an interview at Orel IT, Colombo. First, when I arrived at the building, I found out that the company hadn’t even informed the ground floor reception about my interview. As a result, I had to wait quite a long time just to be directed to the correct floor.
When I finally got there, no one welcomed me or even acknowledged why I was standing outside. I wasn’t allowed inside because my ID wasn't scanned, and no one from the company came to assist or guide me. I had to stand outside the company area for more than 45 minutes — not even a chair was offered. It felt unprofessional and careless.
There were two ladies scheduled to conduct the interview, but the lack of communication and organization really left a bad impression on me. Overall, this was the most unprofessional interview experience I’ve had so far.

Interview was good. They normally asked for general information technology skills, presentation , client handling and general communication skills. Interview was in English language. Interview was handled by a Lead business analyst and the Manager.
