The interview process was typical to other tech companies. I had a recruiter call which felt more like an initial interview for fit rather than a pre-screening. The questions were in depth about my skills and experience in relation to the role and why I would be a good candidate. From there, I moved forward to an interview with the hiring manager, who then moved me forward to a full loop with 5 interviewers across different functions. The company culture really showed through the interviews as each person was very respectful and collaborative. The interviews felt more like team ideating. The scheduling was really fast and the follow ups were transparent and timely. My recruiter contact was best-in-class in maintaining a line of communication, making me feel valued, and ensuring that things moved smoothly. All interviews were done remotely through video calls.

If you were the PM lead of podcasts for Spotify, how would you improve the experience and interface to increase listening time for new users?
I made it through a couple rounds of interviews, but I felt unclear what they were assessing and specifically looking for. Kind of generic questions. Didn't get much feedback throughout process. Felt a bit like they didn't feel enthused at the outset of interview and unfortunately didn't move forward.

Everything was communicated well and recruiter was awesome until after first round interview communication stopped completely. After reaching out to recruiter there was no answer. This was strange especially because there was total of 9 candidates and recruiter was saying they eill reach out to everyone.
