After filling out the online application and submitting a résumé and cover letter, I was contacted the next day to set up an interview. I was interviewed in an empty court room by the Register in Probate, the other Deputy Register in Probate and one of the judges for Outagamie County. The position had been open for a couple months by the time I applied.
