Recruiter contacted me. Initial phone screen concluded successfully. Moved to Sales Management and that went well. Proceeding nicely. Final interview with Upper Sales Management where I was asked why I had left former company. Disclosed medical disability and a medical setback I had at my last role and the interview ended shortly thereafter. Received my "Dear John" email just four hours later that I had not been selected for further consideration. During the interview process I recalled that Own Technologies touted their workforce anti-discrimination culture and that's why I had applied. Although I had explained that I was 100% able to work and had no lingering issues from my condition I quickly realized that my situation would be a show-stopper. Was disappointed since I felt that Own had good technology. If you have a disability I recommend that you NOT disclose it during your interview process as you will be exited immediately from your candidacy!!

The interviewing process is pretty standard for the most part. Their main emphasis is placed on an aptitude test like the CCAT. If you pass it, you move on in the process. If you don’t, see ya. I wasn’t too impressed with the company after interviewing with them. They look and sound much better in paper.
