Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Own Company (Englewood, NJ) nel mese di ago 2024
Colloquio
This is for the NJ location. There was an interview with hiring manager, then a interview with senior software dev, then a on-site with an interview with two of the people that I would be on the team with.
There was no coding challenge, no system design and no "describe in detail something you built". The interviews consisted mostly of vocab trivia and were extremely easy, save one. The one difficult one was with a team member, Dan, that was beyond ridiculous. He was like that professor from college than nobody liked. He was very opinionated and if you didn't give give him answer that was acceptable enough he would demand a better answer.
Everyone except the one guy was very nice.
The office is really nice BUT it is in suburban part of NJ. You really need a car.

Colloquio
First, there's a technical interview with a team lead which covers basic coding skills. Then a system design interview with an architect, then all-around interview with the founders and an HR interview.

Colloquio
Discussion with recruiter, first coding interview with a software engineer which was patient and helpful.
A second interviewer was terrible, condescending, aggressive during the interview and clearly wasn't prepared and just asked random questions irrelevant to my experience. I was really close to cut the interview and just end it.
This is one of the worst experiences I have encountered and wouldn't have come work there even if they submitted an offer.

Domanda 1
Some coding questions in first interview.
Completely random questions in the second interview.
