I was a junior writer, nearly fresh out of Uni, with maybe only a year of experience. (This was nearly 3 years ago) Interviewer came into the room and started criticising my portfolio instead of finding out more about me and my capabilities. Told me to send more samples to them for further evaluation before they decide whether to interview me again. Complete waste of my time heading down for an interview when this could have been conveyed via email or a call. I didn't send over more samples, of course. If they couldn't be nice during an interview I wonder how the employees are being treated.

It was longwinded and completely unnecessary - waiting a whole month before hiring someone is not a good indication of professionalism. There was no need to meet the boss in the second interview as it was a complete waste of time for everyone, especially me when I had to spend money travelling all the way to and from the office.
