Domanda 1
What do you know about the company? What are your greatest strengths
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Paddy Power Betfair (Dublino, Dublino) nel mese di mar 2015
Colloquio
After an online application process (PP specific) and CV screening there's usually a 3 step interview:
1. Meet with HR rep and/or peer or team lead
This can be a personality/character assessment. They want to make sure that you are the right fit for the company culture. You'll be quizzed on aspects of the job to make sure you're still appropriate for the role but expect questions on your time in other companies, what you liked/didn't, how you approach certain situations and your extra curriculars.
*In certain roles, you will be given a project/task to complete within the following week. You'll then present that project to the manager at the next interview.
2. Meet with line manager
The line manager will also want to ensure you're a good fit for the company. They may be more demanding in terms of your ability to perform in the role than the HR rep as they know the tasks involved.
3. Meet with Department Head
It was normal practice for the Dept head to rubber stamp hires. The line manager may have issued a recommendation by this stage. If you're the only candidate left (you won't know) this will be a rubber stamp interview. If there are a few left in the process, the Dept Head won't have been given a recommendation before hand and will instead compare notes with your line manager afterwards. Either way, you prepare for this as though your job depends on it (it does!)
