I applied on the website and heard back a couple of weeks later from a recruiter, who set up an initial phone screen. The person I was supposed to speak with did not call and after I contacted the recruiter she apologetically rescheduled the call for the next day. After the initial phone screen, I was sent a very lengthy and involved sample research assignment to complete. After submitting it, another phone screen was set up with a different interviewer; this was very perfunctory and it was clear the interviewer had not read or had only barely skimmed the assignment. I was told to expect a decision in later that same week; I received the automatically-generated rejection notice the next week.
Palantir does not appear to have much respect for their candidates' time.

Applied online and received an email request for a phone interview in about 10 days. A team member of the Business Intelligence Research called me and clearly had not read my resume at all. He asked me a great deal about what products I wrote for my former jobs- normal interview questions. He said I would hear back from HR in one or two days. After three days, I emailed HR asking for an update and she immediately replied saying that I was not considered a good fit for Palantir.
