Saw position on job board, applied to company website directly, phone interviewed with a Pall recruiter (recruiter was from another state, a bit confusing on this part as to why their Cortland HR department could not make the call), waited several days as hiring Manager got results, Hiring manager asked for onsite interview, went to company a week later, Interviewed but found out that I was just starting the process while 2 candidates were at the tail end of final decision process (NOT COOL). Newly hired HR girl promised she would follow up in 24 hours, waited a week and I emailed them, no response, then a couple days later a non-Pall recruiter (someone I never had any contact with) from Ranstad Engineering emailed to tell me I did not get the job!!! I emailed the HR person about this Ranstad Recruiter and what I was being told, and never received a response. HR department is a mess with deceptive Hiring techniques, empty promises, and no follow up nor follow through. Speaks volumes in itself...

I applied online and within hours recruiter got back to me for availability. I gave couple of my available times. On the day recruiter called me as scheduled.
It was more like a brief conversation about the job explaining what they’re looking for and asked me why I was looking for new job. Asked me about my compensation expectations. Over all it went pretty good. Recruiter told she’ll get back to me within a week once she gets feedback from hiring manager.
One week passed no response from her. So I mailed her regarding update. No response
2nd week passed. Mailed her again for any update. No response.
Completely unprofessional. If you don’t want to hire just let the person know. Don’t leave the person in dark. People spend time, money, energy to prepare for the interviews.
