Four managers interview you for a Lateral position with no change in pay. I was unaware that I would have to interview as if I was interviewing for a C-position, and I wish there was more credit given for my efforts to meet and greet on my personal time.
If you work nights, they don't accomodate a time slot that works within your work schedule, so you set aside personal time for this interview.
Then there is the time processed between the application submission, and when they actually have you interview. I had a schedule conflict when I used PTO/call out and their system marked me for No call, no show, so it reflected on my actual attendance extremely poorly. Due to this, HR pulled me out of the running, and had me resign before they did their due diligence in understanding that I had done my due diligence on my end.
