Probably the worst set up Interview Process I have been through. This is how it was set up:
1. I sent in my CV to apply for the position.
2. Paradox wanted me to do a work-test for them - without even so much as an interview first. Seems a bit weird, but OK.
3. The work-test is "Find as many bugs in our test-build as possible during a week and report them on our internal site". Jesus Christ. A week on a work test that they seem to send out to anyone? Without even an interview to start with? Disrespectful to the applicants time, in my opinion.
4. What I got back for spending between 40 and 50 hours on the work-test? "We have reviewed your application, and unfortunately we are unable to offer you a position at this time." That's all. Seldom have I even seen such a disrespectful attitude the applicants time and effort spent. If Paradox would have at least started with an interview, to show the at least care slightly, that would have been a different matter entirely. If they would have also made the test much shorter, one-two days tops, that would also have made the situation more bearable. But they didn't. So this is my score.
I can't even rate them on the interview because they didn't even take the time to have an interview.

Colloquio
The hiring process went as follows:
1. Online application. You'll get one week to 1: Test a bug-ridden branch and report all issues you can find, and 2: Break down two game scenarios into test cases.
2. Phone screening. Just general questions about why you applied, salary requirements, and so on.
3. On-site interview with manager and team lead.
4. On-site interview with HR about company structure.
5. On-site interview with HR about company culture.
6. Background check (references).
7. Job offer.
Pros:
* HR friendly and easy to talk to.
* One of the managers seemed to like working at Paradox, which made the position appear more attractive.
* The work test was challenging enough.
* Easy to get in touch with, seemed genuinely interested in me as a candidate.
Cons:
* The recruiter would oftentimes call me unannounced to schedule the next interview.
* Too many interview rounds in relation to the entry-level position I'd applied for. Would've made more sense for mid or senior role.
* The impression that their salary model is based only on the candidate's previous experience in the role, not professional or interpersonal skills.
* Offer non-negotiable.
Other:
* I do not remember being asked any technical questions, or needing to explain QA terminology.

To sum it up, this was a slow, gruelling, but overall OK experience. I declined the offer, which was low by industry standards.
